I made around £2,000 with MDP. It was actually £2,300 in profit when it started loosing but I stopped it just shy of £2,000. I found out in the end (after much research) the £300 losses were caused by my brokers liquidity provider. I withdrew my profits and borrowed the strategy to code my own EA which I still trade today. The reason MDP died was because too many people were entering the same trades. Exactly Steve, basically what I've found here is that £150 seems to be the sweet spot for this group of currencies. The EUR/USD is of little importance to the strategy thanks to it's grouping of currencies so weather it becomes more volatile or even ceases to exist, Brap will be fine.Brap has produced £800 of profit in 1 month, that's starting from a £500 account. We trade the same lot sizes so risk decreases as the account balance grows. The open equity management seems to be working an absolute treat. I imagine it will take a lot of convincing to prove to people that there is a way to trade grids profitably but with the Brap EA the logic speaks for itself, instead of blindly drawing down we open trades on a non correlating pair to manage draw down, then we balance out the open equity so that we can close all trades for an overall profit. This is a scalping strategy I am working on. It's having real problems running on gomarkets due to the constant spread widening. In theory it's a winning strategy but the spread blowouts are forcing me to rework it. Those 2 AUD/USD trades were winners on another broker.I know gomarkets are having problems at the moment but it's making scalping impossible, even on demo accounts as the spreads widen just as much on those.Still a lot of good has come out of this as I will be moving this EA to a broker with better liquidity in the new year.

Hi Bijan, this is not grid me up fx although the strategy is somewhat similar, the difference is this EA hedges when drawdown reaches a fixed amount, it also uses dialy candle deviations aswell as reversi for entry.

This setup is a modified blessing EA that unlike the traditional blessing goes for positive equity and positive trades even after extra level drawdown rather than a static tp, it is the basis for the brap system that will utilise multiple bags of double barrelled blessings. lol I know it's all a bit much ;-)This account will ultimately crash or be closed, it's purpose is not to make money, it's for me to watch the strategy and make any adjustments.

Just an update, the liquidity problems are still affecting gomarkets so it looks like I am going to have to find another broker.Some of you may or may not be aware of blessing ea, it's a free grid trader made by jtalon, do a search on google and be sure to check them out, it's an honest operation going on there.Anyhow I've decided to take blessing and modify it, as we already know grid trading and martingale on it's own is very dangerous. Hi 7,Just ignore all these idiots that are doubting your strategy. The majority of traders here have been conditioned into thinking you can only earn 2% a month in trading. They see high flyers netting 20% a month and get jelous and come onto their pages to try and rubbish them because they never got beyond moving averages and price action.Can you tell us more about the strategy, I'm guessing it's not martingale right?whats the risk per trade?

Go Markets are having liquidity issues at the moment which is affecting the spread. I'm seeing the spread rise to over 3 pips on the EUR/USD. Unfortunately this spread is too high to trade slug16 so I'll have to suspend it for now.I've spoke to GoMarkets who say that they are looking at fixing the issue. I really do hopy they sort it out as they have been a good broker up until now. The issue is affecting all traders judging by what I've read on the majour forums.

May I ask why you've made all the financials private? it kind of defeats the object of sharing, we need to see drawdown in relation to lot sizes, etc.
