I am also officially out. My performance was very consistent with what I do with real money: Double the account and then run to zero in a short time :-) Good luck to remaining traders :-)
Now see, at least someone can still be honest and have fun with these demo contests. Good on you man. That's what this is all about, just to have fun and blow off steam. Hang in there bro, keep trying, stay disciplined, never stop learning, and keep having fun.... in time you will get better and have more success.
Some people take these contests too serious, complain a lot and forget that MyFXBook run these contests for the sake of having fun and to give brokers a chance to showcase their services, nothing more, nothing serious. So what if the leaders want to go 'all-in' and gamble their way to victory. It's a DEMO CONTEST for heaven's sake (speaking to all the moaners out there, not you Faridtoghi), so just have fun with it. I'm sure that no-one in their right mind would try and trade like this with real money, and if you are so desperate to get your hands on a contest account with 'free money' then you have not yet learned to trade, and will most probably lose that money quickly.
Anyway, I think more people should adopt Faridtoghi's attitude and just enter these contests to give it your best shot, have fun and see what happens. Less moaning and more fun!

It happens that I had a sell limit on USDJPY at 119.34 and the price goes at 119.72 before a 730 pips sell off.... but the order has not been executed !
And that makes me really disappointed!

That's because you are using the wrong technique to enter a trade.
Were you using a sell stop or a buy stop, the market would 'make' you a happy guy.
The market did not deny you anything ! You did it to yourself.
The market is offering us a huge pile of money constantly. We just need to take it !

Have you seen that the top 10 traders have draw downs of between about 90% to 50% and made very few trades. There should be a limit, also people should be judged on the number of trades as well, because what is better to make 5 trades and win or to make 5000 trades and come second, work that out, because if you signing clients you what them to make money, but the broker and you also need to make money or it's not worth any ones time, and 5000 verses 5 shows that the system making 5000 trades has been tested 4995 times more that the one making 5 trades, you can get lucky 5 times but not 5000 times

Hi..what this mean "The Contest will not allow more than a total of 500 open positions at any given time"?
that means i can't open more than 500 trades?
currently i already opened 494 trades..
500 open positions, you have 498 closed trades and zero open positions

Oh, and well done on your trading so far.... almost 8000% with 76 trades - good to see a manual trader can still show the systems traders how it's done...
Cheers!

It can allow you to open thousandsss of lots. Try to understand that 1 position doesn't mean 1 lot. A single Position can have 1 lot, 100 lots or even 1000 lots.
In a simple word, 1 position = 1 order which can have as several lots in it.
