Breathing exercises. Inhale normally, exhale slower than the inhale. Repeat. :)

Deep breathing is just a short term solution. What you want to do is reframe stressful events. If they are stressful then they are important. It is nice to be part of important things that make a difference. Take energy from these events

You're spot on. It's all about harnessing that stress as a source of energy and determination.

Howya Hopeful81, to tell you the truth, and answer your 3 really good questions as honestly as possible, 1, trading-related stress? well honestly I don't suffer from that at all lately, but when I did, and I know exactly where you're coming from. I'd just completely take a break from it for a while, often it'd been weeks or months at a time and focus on something different, but even an hour or 2 can and will work wonders for you. Different hobby/passtime, I'd go work on the car, go fishing etc, but generally my go to method would also include playing with the dogs and walking and stuff.

Main motivation 4 trading? Goals and targets. I know how much can be made by doing this, and I'd like a little slice of that pie, before I'm too old to enjoy it hon. But not just for myself. I want to leave a good legacy after I'm gone, and there's no pockets in a shroud as they say, but if I can gain enough to help out others, and I've quite a few causes whose corners I'd be able help better with a fist full of dollars. Well that's motivation enough for me. Get there or die trying.
Ps, I'm assuming by go to method you meant go to method for unwinding.

So back at you then, -
How do you personally deal with trading-related stress? What is your go-to method?

Personally, when dealing with trading-related stress, I turn to mindfulness techniques, particularly focused breathing exercises. Taking a step back, assessing the situation objectively, and reminding myself of the importance of sticking to my trading plan helps me regain composure. Additionally, I find it beneficial to step away from the screen for a short break to clear my mind and refocus.

Stress and anxiety often arise in trading due to the inherent uncertainties. To manage these emotions, establish a robust trading plan, practice disciplined risk management, and take breaks when needed. Motivation in trading can come from setting clear goals, maintaining a positive mindset, and viewing challenges as learning opportunities. Finding a balance between ambition and patience is key to navigating the psychological aspects of trading.
You know dude for me the best motivation to continue trading is to see a profit. But unfortunately, even at this moment excitement awakens, which is no longer good. I'm trying to get rid of this.

The easiest way is to choose a risk you can stomach to lose.
React and do not predict

Stress, anxiety, and motivation all interact in a complex way when trading forex. Decision-making pressures, market volatility, and possible financial losses are all common sources of stress. Anxiety might result from uncertainty about market movements and a fear of making mistakes. However, same emotions can also drive motivation, causing traders to rigorously analyse data, keep current on market movements, and fine-tune their plans. Successful traders learn to manage stress and anxiety through resilience, discipline, and mindfulness practices. Harnessing motivation becomes critical for being focused, responding to market changes, and persevering through hurdles, all of which contribute to forex trading success.

It is impossible to trade under constant stress and anxiety. Sooner or later your nerves will set in. Therefore, it is important to be able to cope with your emotions and trade only with a cool head.

My motivation source? Money.
How do I deal with the stress, honestly from some point on you get used to it, but when I'm doing bigger volumes I'm still shaking, but if there was anything to help with that, for me it's music only.

I either take a long walk or enjoy a very long shower, it’s like a little reset for me. Trading-wise, well, I trade primarily as a form of escapism :) It helps me escape from everything while also making some money.

I agree, trading without stress sounds utopian tbh. It's okay, take a break, sip some coffee, take a shower, smoke a cig and back to trading :) Ok actually don't smoke pls, it's not good for ur health
