Becoming a trader is never an easy task. Hard work is required in the initial stages to understand the market and learn about strategies. But after that it is all about smart work. Having the right strategy and presence of mind to make timely decisions is what takes a trader to the path of success. Transforming the risk into reward is the product of an efficient risk management system. Last but not least, a trader can improve and grow with time but I believe the talent to trade is something we are born with and that’s why we are drawn to this risky world of forex trading.

Yes, forex trading is very lucrative but can be difficult to achieve success in. You need a proper understanding and a lot of knowledge about the market to trade properly. You can lose your money within seconds if you don’t have money & risk management skills.

I think the dark side of the forex market is that many people have this misconception that forex trading is like gambling or it is a money multiplier that anyone can use to get rich. People need to educate themselves what forex truly is and only enter the market after learning everything. The forex market is for serious and professional traders. i think the dark side of this market is Market Makers who always manipulated this place and for that reason retail traders lost their equity.

The loss of mental peace, in my opinion, is the dark side of forex. When traders begin to lose money, they become more impatient and get easily furious which results in losing their mental calmness, which is something we cannot afford in trading.

You are right, risk management is such an important parameter here! You can survive here for a long if you are with a tight risk management plan!

That's true for sure but it should all be in a trading plan where you have backtested the correct risk management and the TP. This should be then tested on demo before even going to a live account

There is nothing new about the forex market, not even the losses. So, instead of calling it a dark side, I would rather call it the true side of the forex market. But with proper risk management, you will be able to make some good trades.
