The title says it all - any commercial offers (EA, money management, tutoring, teaching, being a shoulder to cry on, etc etc) should be backed by a VERIFIED account that has REAL money in it.

Totally agree with this. Not sure how to enforce it other than splitting out the commercial and the non commercial accounts.
As it stands I believe the vigilant members of the site do their best to point out when one of the various elements are missing from an account but there are still always people ready to take a punt when they see the dollar signs.

Demo and / or unverified equity curves could be watermarked with a big, visible 'DEMO' and / or 'Unverified' text across the graph ... 35 people couldn't count on two hands the amount of times I've seen a demo curve on an EA seller's site ...

Watermarking demo/unverified charts is a great idea. Of course, I could knock up a 'MyFxBook' chart in about 30 minutes in photoshop to show pretty much anything I wanted to.
I basically disregard any MyFxBook details on a commercial website unless they lead directly back to a live account on here, and so should everybody else in my opinion.

What has been done? Nothing I guess.
There are still numerous money manager wannabies, fishing with demo account baits.
I think there should be button on each system to signal the administrator that it's a commercial offering, and after review it should be left if the account is verified and real or deleted/banned if it's commercial offering backed by a demo account.

Dear Staff,
how many 'Yes' votes would you like to see here so you'll consider introducing rules for commercial members? 😄
Obama will decide when.😁

Obviously there's no will for this POSITIVE change this although it has so many votes.

Guys, we do read every post in the suggestion box, problem is there are many different suggestions in this one suggestion, which I will sum up quickly:
1. Force the broker data to show on public accounts - implemented.
2. Watermark charts with demo/real text - still considering it (either watermark or a small redesign to include the data on top of the page).
3. Manually separating commercial from non commercial systems - there is no automated way of doing so, and doing it manually for more than 10,000 systems which are added on a monthly basis, would be impossible, to say the least.
So the only option now is number 2 - do you think it is sufficient?
As a side note, all of the necessary information which is required to decide if the account is valid (each one and his own criteria obviously) is fully available to each member (broker, demo/real, trading behavior and so on).

As per point 1 - THANK YOU.
As per point 2 - it would be a good idea.
As per point 3 - a nice option would be to have 'Commercial offering' button and if at least three people click on it(because only 1 click could be very subjective) you should check whether that system is trully a commercial offering, is it real and verified account and if not - you could remove that account. I know you couldn't manually filter 10 000 newly added systems and you don't have to. I'm talking only about those speacial systems you've received signals about. It will be probably no more than 2-3 systems/day.

How about this.
When a new account( System ) is uploaded, the user has the option to click a COMMERCIAL Icon below demo/real account. (System Setup Page) - The ability to check this Commercial box should only be possible after the user clicks REAL account.
Once the account is verified as Real with trading privileges, their account can be found in a NEW search criteria COMMERCIAL within the systems search criteria.
At this point, All the accounts would have to be Real, verified, and the Member has to click the icon box to become listed in the commercial search criteria. ( this should be able be coded )
Now when a member wants to filter out commercial products, they can easily do so, just like the option to filter out demo/real and technical vs fundamental.

We can already find the demo/real under the general Tab once we are on the systems page.
And adding a watermark to the widgets can easily be edited out with photo shop. Wasted energy I think.
Just let the users decide if they want to be listed in the Commercial search criteria .

Let me put this watermark thing in perspective. Suppose you see the following chart on a manager's website. Taken from an actual site.
<a href='https://www.myfxbook.com/files/speki/realfx.jpg' target='_blank'><img src='https://www.myfxbook.com/files/speki/realfx.jpg'/></a>
If I saw 'Demo Demo Demo', I probably wouldn't be interested in their services:
<a href='https://www.myfxbook.com/files/speki/demo2.jpg' target='_blank'><img src='https://www.myfxbook.com/files/speki/demo2.jpg'/></a>
I agree, it can be edited out but you'd have to edit it every day or every week to keep it updated.
