The performance you see there is not an EA, it is the result of my discretionary forex and index trading. I teach trading and I have several years of real money trading experience. Started trading equities in 1997, warrants in 1999 and futures in 2001. Since 2007 I focus mostly on the foreign exchange market, I developed several profitable trading strategies for the USD pairs and I am executing these strategies on the account you see. Hi Henry
I downloaded your trades and made some statistical analisys. I know there are no 'magic' index to evaluate if a strategy will be profittable or not in the future but I use a lot System Quality Analisys Index (created by Mr. Van Tharp). I relay a lot on this index because, in my experience of real system evaluation it proved to be reliable and also because it is the best index that works as target function on a Walk Forward Analisys process during strategy development.
The simple form of this index is 10*AverageTradeP&L/StandardDeviation of trade P&L
According with Mr. Van Tharp reccomendation a tradable system should have an index between 1.7 and 7. Your trading system has so far SQN=0.98.
Even the equity curve mearured on money and meaured on Pips are extremelly different, also your the number of cuncurrent trades vhange a lot during time adn it reach 25. This facts are so relevant to be justified by an adaptation to changing market volatilitily, instead it could warn that sometimes you add at lossing trades to bet on the recovery of the position. May be I am wrong on this specific point but the SQN < 1.7 make the system not tradable for me anyway.
I will appreciate your comment in any case.
Thanks

Well it is
fully verified account
at reputable broker
- quite fresh
- trade size is very inconsistent, I would not call it martingale but, trading so different trade sizes is a bit about luck and not about being consistent

Dear fcardix,
my trading style is to maximize profit, I dont really take care how much pips I make nor do I care about the stats you mentioned. The stas are like this because in some situations I increase my position size dramatically when I have a high probability setup in front of me.
regards, henry

It is simply you have bold statement
like ...trading for years...
... teaching forex students...
and you can only support these statements with fresh martingale like system

Dear Henry I don't want to attack you or to put you on a difficult situation.
You can do whatever you want with your money and with your account.
If you gain or lose nothing change for me.
I simply applied my own risk acalisys tool that I use for my own trading on your account. The result was that your trading history is not stable, it WAS profittable but it WAS NOT stable.
There is an huge difference between a profittable trading having not stable history and a profittable trading having stabel and costant trade distribution statistic.
You can also have fantastic results playing at casino for 1, 2, ... 10 nights but this will never become a profitable future because you habe the statistics rules againt you behind.
So my post was only to highligh you the hidden risk behind your trading style. Your conclusion can obviusly be I am wrong and nothing change but then you don't need to get upset or may me I am even partially right and then you should reflect a little bit more and reconsider your trading approach.
Anyway it are your money and you can do whatever you want, including play at roulette, play at slot machine, make gift at banks behind your trading or (at this is what I suggest) invest less money in purchase a good book abour trading risk and learn it.
Everithing is up to you.
Have a great future anyway.

my remarks were not for you but for the other guy from czech republic.
you seem like a reasonable person.
You know what? There are 2 kind of traders
A. - real trader - makes money for living from trading
B. kind - so called trader - makes money by writing articles about trading, teaching trading, etc but not from trading
you are a B.
