A good source of information on Fancy Bot is http://www.donnaforex.com/forum/index.php?topic=9813.0 What I can say about Fancy Bot is the developer is very responsive. He has already addressed the issue that the bot's have with long candles and will be releasing an update. The truth is though that the breakout bots may have reached their lifetime. There are enough people using them now that it can be very profitable for the big guys to target the stop/loss of these bots. There are many times I have made a profit by stopping the bot and increasing the Stop/Loss . . . where the official account stopped out. I hope I'm wrong though as I quite like the way Growth Bot has performed over the years.

That's interesting Aplmustdie, I've been watching Fancy Bot - looks like it may be more stable then Invest Bot. What's your opinion on Fancy Bot? And well done on making a profit on what seems to be a rough couple of months for most EAs.

Fancy Bot is a breakout EA, much like Robin, Invest Bot, and Growth Bot. It didn't suffer from as much drawdown as the last two, but it still has a weakness on long fast moving bars when they reverse. The stops often trigger and it continues the original move. The good news is the vendor is working on a fix for this issue. He has been quite responsive and active in the DonnaForex forums.

Thanks for the info Aplmustdie. I will continue to keep a close eye on Fancy Bot's performance.

Will you take a look at the difference between this bots performance and FGB. I guess this one really is better than FGB because previously I was unconvinced to say the least.

This hasn't been updated in a while. The inability to update is laziness on the developers part. There is an EA that allows auto update on myfxbook even with the update to mt4
.

Not looking good is it.... Glad I turned it off when I did. Would get a refund if I could, but I've had it for over 2 months now. Hopefully the developer will do some fine tuning and it will become profitable again...

Even with today's win, it is way to volatile in todays market. At best, it is breaking even. What good is a big win if you can lose it in 4 days.

That's quite a big win, 25% in one day... The risk level must be way too high on this account to have such wild swings. I was running 0.5 lot on a 15k account and it lost 10% in one day. Maybe I should try it on 0.05 lot or less? Still, seems like a lot of squeeze for not much juice...
