Hi

I'm using AmazingEA to trade the news. Many people on the Internet were saying News Trading is dead. Well, it's not as easy as it sounds. For each trade, there is a bit of homework and setup time required, followed by nerves of steel while the trade is executing, followed by a bit of experience to understand the best time to close. You can start by using basic settings and Trailing Stops to capture as many pips as possible. But you soon realise that Trailing Stops get stopped easily, and to make any real profits requires letting the good trades run as long as practical. The other major factors are having a fast execution speed, possibly using a VPS, an accurate clock and some patience. It also pays to analyse every single trade, even the winners. That way one can make small adjustments to the settings or one's style.

Best of Luck, Alan 😀

Yep, you're right. I've opened up Lots and History, but kept amounts and balances private. As you can see, the trades are around high impact news events. Anybody can find these 'signals' in the FF Calendar under High Impact..... 😉

is there a way you can make the risk calculation as accurate as 0.01 (micro) instead of 0.1 (mini)

Hi @wakeel

The risk calculation is not very good. But also, this system is designed for trading large lot sizes not micros. If you want to trade very small lot sizes, don't use the risk percentage, just specify how much exactly.
