Yes, LeapFx is not a trustworthy company at all; usually they promote something heavily with this kind of MyFxBook links but there is always something "not well aligning": a demo account used, or a live account with a "bucket shop" broker, a track record/live updating going on -> off -> on etc. continuously as if trying to not make MyFxBook able to track drawdown periods etc. And after some time the links happen to be cancelled and if you ask them why the answer is "it was an user/customer private account so we have not control over it", like this same link: it's referred from their home page but do you see here any clue about LeapFx in the URL? Who "III_FX_3" is in/for LeapFx?

Yes, it works in both up and down trends, it's scalps, so it doesn't matter.   If the comimssion is too high - BUT it's possible it can be profitable with the commission, you can return the robot, or use another borker.
