Should be okay, it will drop. USD had strong positive data. In a couple hours or so it will move in right direction. Volatility too high right now.

In truth the data was a mixed bag. NFP headline and unemployment beat. But average hourly earnings fell and missed pretty big. It's what puts the BS in the BLSBS. One full time ditch-digger loses his job and is replace by two part time guys. One guy digs a ditch, the other one fills it in with the same dirt. And you get double the contribution into GDP for no net useful economic activity and two jobs where you had one.

Me too - I think there is gonna be resistance at 0.82 level.

Interesting I didn't pick up either the 3:31 or the 3:36 NZDUSD that RevTrader picked up. Would've been nice to offset the negatives of yesterday's entries. Hopefully for RevTrader they hold good to help him out of the last few trades he's had, which must have hurt.

My AUDUSD from yesterday is still hanging in there, but not looking any better.

I'm using AxiTrader, but looking very seriously at changing over the weekend or early next week.

I had only one NZDUSD open, and it closed slightly negative (-5pips at SL). And I had only one AUDUSD open - it's still open, but going the wrong way 😕

I note that around 3 times during the life of these trades, that in my humble opinion, the trades could have closed in reasonable profit. Hmmm....
Just saying.....

I have seen that the ea comes with a standard settings, and those settings means that there only will be open 1 trade of the pack for each pair. If you read carefully the settings, it is said that in case you want to open the 3 trades on each pair you have to set up it at the ea.....changing the 2nd and 3d trades distance acording to the settings

Thanks for reminding me, I did in fact know that, but it slipped my (old) mind when I made the post. Apologies.
My other comment though, where I mention I didn't pick up either on the NZDUSD entries that RevTrader did, reflected that I did remember the fact then - I didn't get either (especially both), because I have the EA set at basic 1 pair trade at a time. Maybe that's a good thing - those trades aren't doing too well. I'm still just playing with this EA, not trying to break any records, just keeping all my exposure really low till I'm satisfied I know how to make the most of it. At the moment, I'm still satisfied with this EA, however I have to look at it as a 'tool', not a one-size-fits-all. It will require some more tweaking (maybe some assistance from Gwindy (good luck with your trades there mate), and perhaps some manual intervention from time to time, because as I mentioned during the lifetime of those trades over the last 24 or so hours, I felt those trades could have closed with some healthy Pips, yet they have travelled back and past the Break Even point. My AUDUSD trade is currently -37PIPS, though it was in profit almost 20 PIPS at one stage (healthy for this type of EA). It reached that point at least 2 times, then reverse momentum carried it past the Break Even point. I do believe the Entry Price was almost perfect, as it remained an extremely strong resistance point for quite some time. Exit/close price was the problem.

Would this EA not benefit from having a news indicator on it so it won't trade near major news announcements?

bros,

take your strength and short the AUDUSD now...good chance. 0.82000 should be the strong resistance...no risk no fun...
:)

Cheers and nice week end to you all!
be humble, wise and thanks the Lord for every pip you get and try to keep it!

I have it set to close 30 mins before, can we change that to false after a trade has been opened by the EA?

TIA!

Hi Doug, will you keep AUD positions open over the weeken or close? I believe EA will close automatic before closing the market.

Anyone can tell, is it a good idea to keep positions opened as pair is reached on the peak value ? Any expert advise on current situation ?

Hi,

To whom it may concern.
I put this EA on three live accounts with three different brokers because the broker dependencie seems to be a hot item for this EA. Duration: since beginning of December 2014.

But anyway; I did not close the three NZDUSD trades this evening. So I am looking at some losses at this moment. I think this is the only way to see how this EA struggles this harsh environment. I don't trust demo accounts.

Guys, i know we're all hoping that our AUDUSD trades start moving in a downward direction.

I've been keeping up with the discussion here.

Hi All,

Just to let everyone know that I've bought this EA and after 24 hours later I've notice that was not the best option for me and my broker.
I requested a refund by email:'No answer'
I fill a paypal refund request: 'Denied and said it reply to the email'
I'm waiting a reply (will wait more 24h) and then will escalate to a paypal claim.

So on the website we can read 'If at any time within 2 months, that is 60 days, for any reason, you are unsatisfied, unable to continue using my software, or for whatever reason at all, just let me know, and I’ll refund you in full.'

I make the request 24 hours later.. not 60 days after...
So the author does not commit to his own words on the website and will not make any further comments on the honesty of such behavior.

Best Regards
embb
