Great job Doug !

14 hours without updating Myfxbook.
The time to amend the statement in... Synergy with the broker

And the 2 big losses E/U in SL, disappeared!

Not fair at all, dear Doug

Losing trade wasn't reflected on fxbook. Made a significant loss due to one trade gone wild. Been performing really well till hours ago....😭 Made a screenshot and send it over to support, awaiting Doug's reply..

What do you mean? I havent had any losing trades yet with VTP. My trades match the vendor except GBPUSD but I put that down to my broker. Who's your broker?

I'm using ICMarkets ECN.

I don't believe this is true. My Synergy account didnt pick up the trade either. It is due to slight variation in feed from the broker. I'd say more a stroke of luck on this occasion.

Can you post your SynergyFX account to myfxbook because many accounts got loss?

The only brokers that I saw were Demo XM and Demo ICmarkets that did not get the signal. If you had no signal, at what broker.

I didn't get these trades and other people didn't either. Vortex uses price action, so one broker price feed can have different price than another at a moment. This can impact signals. This is why i have broker recommendations.

Broker recommendations include FXChoice through which I got the two losses of yesterday.

If you don't want losing your credibility you just need to keep your statement updating switched on instead of turning off while the trades are quickly going against the market, directly to the SL (you are using the same strategy with RTP...)

Hi Alex,

can understand your feeling. it is not only you. Others members account also have the similar pain. several years ago, I had the more serious lesson.

For forex trading, always use risk management based on stop loss pips, not based on initial capital risked for each trade.

for this point, I can say that the risk management concept for some vendors are totally wrong. Don't use history performance guide your risk management for future. Only use hard stop loss to calculate the risk!!!

Finally another vote for risk management!! Slow and steady wins the race.. First rule of forex.. Money management. Learn it or get out of the game.. FACT!!

Absolutely right; when u have to choose the lotsize u must check the stop loss value and evaluate how much money u are confortable to risk at each trade. Money managment rules followed by vendors are usually not suitable for the average trader, because they usually uses high risk to attract buyers.
