Housing and utilities are the most important categories in the consumer price index in Denmark (accounting for 29.4% of overall weight). Followed by food and non-alcoholic beverages (12.2%, Transportation  (11.8%), recreation and culture (10.9%), other products and services (9.6%), and restaurants and hotels (6.2%). The remaining 19.9% of overall weight is made up of furniture, housewares, and routine household maintenance, apparel and footwear, alcoholic beverages and tobacco, health, communication, and education.

A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the DKK while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the DKK.
