Qatar Qatar Financial Centre PMI
When it comes to the non-oil private sector in Qatar, the QFC Purchasing Managers Index keeps track of how well companies are doing. A value above 50 indicates that the non-oil private sector has grown in comparison to the previous month; a reading below 50 indicates that the sector has declined, and a value of 50 implies that nothing has changed.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the QAR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the QAR.
