Russia GDP Growth Rate YoY
As well as being one of the world's largest producers of oil and natural gas, Russia is also a major supplier of metals, including steel and primary aluminum. On the output side of the economy, services are the most important sector, accounting for 58% of total GDP. The most important segments of the services sector are wholesale and retail trade (17% of total GDP), public administration, health, and education (12%). In terms of total output, industry accounts for 40%, with agriculture accounting for the remaining 2%.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the RUB while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the RUB.
