Thanks for clearing that up, much appreciated! I am live testing AU and EU currently, and also forward testing the other pairs in demo, let see how it does in the next few months, I am beginning to think that although the other pairs have potential, perhaps concentrating on EU/AU may be the way forward.

Ok, got it, by the way, is it correct to assume that the recommended settings you have on the forum is applicable for v10 as well?Sorry, one more question regarding the trading time range of 23:00-00:00, does that need to be adjusted for my broker (IC Market, +2 Winter/+3 Summer) or is my broker time the same as yours already? I.e., does it need to be changed to 02:00-03:00 or stay pat at 23:00-00:00? Thanks!

Jeanluc, if you don't like it and don't think there are good signals, please feel free not to use it. You have no inputs or suggestions to make other than that Signal Start sucks, it looks very much like you're the one trolling here. I guess that also meant all the other uses who have had positive experience are wrong. Ha, I am not affiliated with Signal Start at all, just a regular user like everyone here. In fact, if you look at my earlier posts, I only join this thread to give feedbacks about the services I received from them (I also think their customer service response time is TOO slow). About Real Gold, the first time he traded at 200-300X his normal lot size was a big red flag for me. All it takes it one bad move of the currency and you're toast. I don't really make signal recommendations because no signals/EAs last forever and everyone has different risk tolerances, but I can recommend the settings I use to filter out the potentially better signal. Two parameters: 1) DD under 20% (preferably under 15%), 2) Age over 6 months (preferably over 1 year). I don't really focus too much on returns, I put 90% of my attention on risk control.Then I review the trading histories, mainly how long the trades last and how it saves losing positions (I usually stay away from martingales as that strategy is more suited for cards not FX IMO). Guys, you need to learn how to pick signals better and not only by the trading records. There are some good signals in Singal Start, but you need to analyze their trades, especially how they save their losing positions.Also always remember, no signal will last forever, you will need to always watch the trades, but it's a lot less stressful then doing it yourself!

@kaoblast I don't think customer feedback is necessarily important, there are too many newbies who come here to bitch and moan because they don't know how to evaluate signals, or when they've set the risk ratio too high then blame it on the signal for their greed. Signal Start is not perfect, but it's the best out there in my opinion so far. So far, all of the signals (except one) I've used have worked flawlessly, as is the connection.

@odyssee Yes, you are correct, the rankings is not working as it should. As I've mentioned, I don't think it considers how long the signal has been active in its calculation, so a signal can easily jack up the risk, get a crazy return and shoot to the top 10 in rankings. That's why I always filter signals running for at least 6 months, and 1 year or more ideally. I would also watch the DD, it's an another critical indicator, I try to use ones under 10%. My experience is that there are definitely gems out there, you just need to do your homework and carefully pick the right one....

@odyssee As you have already learned, ratings aren't truly indicative of the signal's performance. I don't think the calculation for the ratings include consideration for a signal's age, which I think is a critical metric in evaluating its performance. Signals are not ATM machines, you need to carefully filter and select, or you might as well flush your funds down the toilet.

Hi Brian, you are correct in your assessment. I personally put primary focus on DD as I believe risk control to be the key to the optimization of all other metrics. Of course, you can set risk at 0.1 for a signal with a 99% DD and have a 10% DD, but then your profit will only be 1/10 of expected and the signal will be more likely to blow up. I know that's an extreme example, but I'd rather use a low risk signal and dial up the risk setting knowing the signal is managed superbly than use a higher risk signal then dial down the risk setting. I personally don't use anything above 13% ...

Works good (for certain signals), but customer service is bad. Response time is 2 days or more, no online chat, and no way to contact the signal provider with questions. Also, don't be fooled by the performances of signals, sometimes you'll only get half the results or worse due to the slippage, I wish they can fix that as well.Everything else is acceptable.

Sorry Rimantas, you are wrong, the best traders don't fail because they realize market conditions change constantly and they adapt. You are NOT adapting and the numbers do not lie, your EA is not making money and it's at -11% to this date.Stop being so stubborn.
