Here's what I have posted in the FPA's scam folder. I agree we knew the TRADING LOSS risk, but that's NOT the same as the UN-KEPT PROMISES risk. There's a huge difference. what gives me the creeps is that there's no way sPhantom could benefit from allowing this to happen, and their track record proves they didn't have to.Follow the money - the only party that benefits from this is IBFX, after many users buy the EA and then go with IBFX to avoid latency.I finally have started to turn the corner and learn manual trading - no more EA's for me unless I can fully adjust the money management parameters myself.

@pilotas - of course, and I'm not trading with scared money either. However, last weeks loss should have warned them not to trade news, and it didn't.Especially as there was evidently a time when they were more careful.Look at the curve of their chart, every now and then theres a big glitch; but you'd hope that each time they'd analyze what went wrong.

they made 6.3, I made 4.7, using pellucidfx. Can't complain: if an EA trade goes wrong but it breaks even, I'm fine.

Very true, and my response to this is to rerun my stats regularly and document the things I learn. I have a simple log I use, just a 4-column spreadsheet where I record things that happened that I didn't like, things I did to try to figure out a solution and what happened as a result, lessons learned, and date solved (or dropped).Re the dealer plug-ins I'd love to say they're a myth, but I know my broker close enough to have discussed them with him. Very true, I didn't reply before but thanks for the input.I have had a heck of a month so far following this system, and the only real change for February is going to be adding other instruments as long as they are trending. I might do them in demo only for a month.the R:R ration is interesting, and I have done well so far by setting my SL at a visually indicated place (like the last D1 swing) and then dividing what I'm willing to risk by the distance in points (pipettes) to get an approximate lot size. I then set a TS equal to the SL distance and this month has been very good for that...
