Emotions are horrible in trading. They can spill over in to normal life and at weekends when not trading. I try to use small Lot size to help with this

Stick to your trading times. That is my key thing for a balanced life. I only trade from 10am-4pm Monday-Thursday. I take the rest of the time off. Who wants to work all day every day

I like to check on markets during the day but do not sit in front of PC. I will come back at the close of candles to see what is going on but I will just over trade if I am watching charts all day

Could see sideways price movement for many months. General uncertainty could also keep price in check

If you never set a stop loss or close a trade in losing position, and trade a stable FX pair that just ranges maybe something like EURCHF or EURGBP, you should be able to only have winning trades. You would need a massive trading account though in order to keep all those losing positions open during drawdowns. But in theory you will get 100% winners

That is the idea but in practice I find it very difficult to trade S+R . There are so many fake outs. it is easy to find S+R trades in hindsight but in live market there are too many losing trades. I prefer momentum strategies these are easier to identify and more reliable IMHO
