I have been copying live for two months. In July I made +56%, and in August currently -10%.I think in July the markets were very friendly to the trading style of the traders I follow, and in August the markets weren't so friendly to their styles of trading. You need to be confident about the criteria you believe in for selecting traders to copy, then continue with them long enough for their respective edges to get the market conditions that they need to profit. Fingers crossed we don't lose our account in the meantime :)

I had the same issue. In my case the problem was my own. I copied a system with a fixed small lot. The system I copied used partial closes, so my position was closed on the first partial close, and the other partial closes - which show up as separate trades in the system's history - were not shown in my history. If a system uses partial closes it's hard to notice. You have to look at trades with the same open time and open price. That might be a sign it was one trade, with partial closes. If that isn't happening in your case, try contacting support with the exact trades missed ...

Spereira,According to your attached screenshot you are up 328(pounds?) with NightProfit ICmarkets. Not too bad!I have 50 trades in my history with this trader. The average slippage over that sample is 2.6 pips. You can copy/paste slippage data from your browser window to excel quickly to check. (This was also with the same broker - IC markets)That average includes 3 or 4 outliers of -10+ pips. For some reason GBPAUD/GBPCAD pairs have bad slippage in the odd hours that this trader places trades. Without the few outliers the slippage average was more like 1.7 pips. My average slippage o...

Thanks to Leon, Jeff, fxtrader, (and others) for the great comments that I second strongly. In addition to their comments; The system that is the absolute best in the list [according to past performance in pips, which as we all know has limited value, but is all we have :) ], but has been unmentioned on this thread [as far as I know] is SLINGSHOT.Please support this trader so he continues being a system provider on copytrader.Hint; you can manage trade lot size in settings.Thx.

Has anyone used Autotrade with a live account for over a few months? Can you share your average slippage in pips over that time? A lot of the signal providers have pip expectancy of about 2 or 3 pips per trade(if gold, indices etc. are excluded), so I would like to hear what results have been realized over a significant live trial.Would like to know what brokers were used, and any other info. that will help to make the information relevant for selecting a broker, and possible signal providers.Positive and negative experiences welcome.
