I get why that sounds inflationary, but “Fed buying bills” by itself doesn’t automatically mean inflation is back. The cleaner drivers for gold are usually real yields and the dollar. If yields are drifting lower or USD stays soft, gold can stay supported. If yields pop on the next data, gold can fade even if liquidity feels loose.
I would like to discuss with you what kind of broker you want.

For me the right broker depends on what you’re trying to do, but a few basics matter almost every time. I want reliable execution and clean pricing first. Total trading costs matter too. Then I look for easy deposits and withdrawals, decent support, and clear rules around leverage, margin, and order types so there are no surprises. My risk tolerance is moderate, so I’d rather have consistency and transparency than maximum leverage.

If swaps are becoming a big part of the decision, I’d personally simplify and stick mostly with majors where financing is usually less extreme and liquidity is better. You might earn a bit less carry, but you also avoid building a swing bias around swaps that can flip fast when sentiment turns

100% agree. Most of trading is just showing up, sticking to the same rules, and giving it enough time for the edge to play out. People blow up because they get impatient and start changing things right when they should be staying consistent.

1% risk can be a solid guideline, but some traders need less and some can handle more depending on the system and drawdown tolerance. The “never close before 1:3” part is the one I’d be careful with, because a lot of profitable strategies don’t average 1:3, and forcing it can make you pass good trades or give back gains.
