I am sorry i fail to believe that someone with this high amount of return can enter competitions like this, why would you want this puny price money when you can create returns like this. Well done though.
Best traders: How to detect them?

STrange how everyone tries to analyse and figure out what is a good trader and what systems they use. Some may even ponder why you dont see these super beings on the forums and if there is a holy grail in trading. As a trader for almost 5 years ,i can tell you there is no secret or system only endurance. Do what the turtles do by sticking to the system. You have to bench mark your system and change it all the time. There is no set system on the planet. Its all about dynamics and you can spot these traders by their opportunistic nature, its like business people some know when its a good deal an...

Nothing wrong with them, but what put me off is the marketing going around the account sizes. The person i dealt with forced me to go higher account, probably for his own benifit. Everything else about the broker is amazing, bit expensive but the amount of instruments to trade is massive.

They are not bad, started my trading career with them but their service is stagnated. Compare it to some of the other brokers you will find their tools and feature very limiting. I enjoyed the web based trading, which was slow at times, since i was trading at work behind a firewall. Their spreads are expensive.

Thanks for sharing that JB, that was truly amazing. You must also remember that businesses rely on random nature of customers to predict targets. We are not very diffirent in that sense as we try to make sense using avarage calculations and hystorical data which in turns creates a comfort zone and strategic planning. The reason business makes money and some of us dont comes down to money management. This article did open my eyes a little more as i always, had the same assumptions but speki hammered it into the wall with this story. Thanks for that, i will follow this with great interest ...
High leverage and small deposit.. Suicide?

I have a trading account like that and it helps me to be more accurate in trading and have a strict money management system in play. I eventually want to trade larger amounts but the biggest killer of all accounts must be emotion, not leverage. Leverage does limit your flexibility to trade time frames and i found trading on the 1 hour time frame is better for smaller account sizes and higher leverage. Trading small time frame should also not make you blind towards higher time frames that gives clearer signals. Smaller time frames allows for larger stop loss areas with the least amount of risk....

I dont like the extensions that much but i use the retracements a lot. Not to find a entry but to predict where the current entry may end. It's true what your saying JB, i like fibs becuase it helps to create order in what i see and reference areas for my trade. The mind need to organize chaos and we get nervous if we dont understand what we see. That's why indicators are so popular, it takes the movements and dilutes it so we can find patterns on them. Some people are good enough to understand what is going on by looking at a chart. It's like taking a picture of something up clos...

I trade at work and i use NETDANIA's charts toplan my trades on. The problem however is that when i go home my trading plan would be stuck at work. It would be great if there were a cloud based charting software that marries up with the system you have in place at the moment. This means i can plan my trade and manage it anywhere due to it being in the cloud. If there are people using this type of service please let me know. I am not talking about VPS either, i need a strictly JAVA based platform.

It must be controlled properly, i have looked at some reviews and i think most reviews and ratings are based on RAGE, especially when a trade did'nt go too well. Have 3 or 4 of these ragers voting and you have a losing broker that was actually good in the first place. It's also not fair if a rating is applied as bad when there is only 1 post under it. For this to work, some sort of proof must be presented why the broker failed and maybe a balance scale where the negative and positive balances out properly with the amount of votes. Idieally you want a rating to be dominent after a certa...

Look for ECN accounts. Small spreads and execution rate. I am not a huge fan of metatrader and believe you have a faster execution through platform that was made by the broker itself.(IF THEY ARE ECN) But fxprofits33 is correct Instaforex are making a good name lately. Good luck on your search.

If you bring fib into your trading system you will most likely increase your accuracy. There are many sites that will explain it in detail and you can start with www.babypips.com.
