By the way there is third option on Question 1. You can trade not martingale, but variable position sizing and again to have negative total pips and positive PnL. Spreads and of course the exact assets they provide. For example there are brokers where I can find a specific stock to trade and I can choose only for that reason to trade with them.

Scalping is not riskier than other trading styles, it is just more time consuming and need more attention and proper discipline to implement.

I don't agree totally. Regulation is important we all know it is a crucial element, but these days there are tones of regulated brokers, which however offer crap services, or at least sub-optimal and not that good. Spreads and commissions are everything (of course when we talk of secure regulated brokers). If we get low commissions, low overnight rates, low spreads and low all the time not only two hours a day than we can surely say we have a wining solution.
