As far as I am concerned...and I am sadly a US resident...its still illegal for brokers who handle US accounts to offer CFD's to us...and if they do...i'd ask exactly how their legit....

Well, considering this is investors money you deal with, one would assume you wouldn't take the extra risk assuming you would be right. On that note, I think that was a emotional mistake.If I were your investor, I would care more about your results and hope you can do what you set out to be... "Manage Money". This seemed to be a case of some mismanagement. I would like to know that you take every precaution to preserve capital first and profit from it as a result. Don't over invest just to make a better ROI...just keep to your system of trading.As for everyones theory of stop...

2.1 Update- Made a simple stop trading variable to prevent any trades from taking place. Useful when you know you will need to take your computer. Prevent's opening of "new" trades but can continue to operate and enter trades to the ones already running.(Will most likely update this and create scheduled stops so you can plan ahead to make sure all trades are closed.)Other infoI finished my recode of this EA and the new EA is in testing right now. A lot of systems here are "Demo" profitable. Demo profit does not pay the bills.I've never personally did any transactions mainly because I use this site as a more graphical analysis tool and to check out other members ideas...but I have gotten requests via. PM to which I always decline anyways....but I've read through quite a few people's systems and there were some sales taking place...and the only reason I know that is because the buyer usually come back to the same system to say "Hey, your EA is BS and I've lost money!".

Actually...since I never really answered the question, but just mentioned that the use of these e-currencies are just stupid......as for forex brokers...i'd prefer within the realm of legitimacy and e-currencies are not it for this such business.Don't get me wrong...e-currencies have some good uses. Lord knows it helps me not worry about chargebacks when I do freelance web designing/programming...but, if your claiming to be a big financial broker who handles millions of trades and millions of dollars, then why bother with e-currencies.Are they fishing for money that cant really be trac...

So it's not really free if they just rename it...(or at least according to how im reading your post.)...and I'll assume you are referring to Islamic Accounts.As far as im concerned...they will charge a set commission amount for any position withheld overnight.It even says so at Alpari: http://www.alpari-forex.com/en/trader/swap_free/

It really doesn't but my point more or less is why bother....It's just fee after fee after fee with most of these e currencies.

The process to cash in and out of these products are just tedious anyways...just dependent on 3rd party sites so that they (the e-currency) don't have to deal with privacy, exchange issues, and chargebacks.

I guess its some what similar. I'd asume that there is some delay/slippage on that Live account which causes different SL/TP calculations in the EA due to the entry point difference...and maybe the trigger to stop a trade is not a constant value since the Pips are a bit off (probably once again due to slippage)...but overall, not a bad comparison.It'd be nice to get an exact duplicate(including balance figures) for the long run...but as for a short term comparison, its not bad at all.Maybe MyFXBook is not updating but your KB5 has open some more trades (5 to be exact) than your IKUL (1...

Well, I really am not concerned with the ROI.I just want to confirm that all the same setups are used when comparing. In other words just 2 accounts, Real and Demo, same setup, same time frame, same EA settings, same margin ratio, same risk/reward, everything exactly the same fundamentally (Account size not really a factor).Just want to see a comparison to it's exact demo counterpart so i can see difference in reaction time, pricing, slippage, etc....but in order to really determine that, as with science, the samples Real and Demo has to be similar.Now once again, I didn't bother to fu...

I'd be helpful if you'd name which one was demo and which one was real here so I didn't have to go into each one.Also, for better testing purposes...shouldnt you make a Demo and Real of the same depositing amount using the same settings on the same EA?(Maybe you did and the names are throwing me off...but if were going to compare, it's be helpful.)

After closing the month at +26% i've be doing some reports to check how I stand marginally and noticed that my drawdown (Relative and Maximal, not Actual Drawdown) was only around 7% at $470...i calculated the margin required while in the drawdown and it stood to nearly only 28% (roughly $1,400) of my actual account starting balance. In other words, a lot of the balance is not being used at the moment but can be utilized for just-in-case moments.Normally, i would be fine with that...after all +26% in the month is not a bad thing......but I decided to add 2 more currencies to the mix instea...

I run this system as well...Not trying to advertise so I wont post a link personally......but when you use this system, its best to keep updating and weed out more possible flaws. Of course this will slow your earnings but it is very very hard to blow a full $15k+ if your working small.Those who complain about it are also the ones who tried to raise the settings to a point where they don't take margin into consideration. They also use multiple currencies to increase their returns and most martingale EA's made don't count all (through all currencies) trades and limit them.Margin + C...

Well, im pretty much running a Martingale to the same extent...and mines is in the demo stages as well. Pips i could care less about (not like my bank would accept a deposit in pips) but we would be taken more seriously if they were live accounts....but then again, i made my EA out of sheer fun and not planning on using it for Management of anyones account....thats all relative to whoever prefers their account to be pip positive or profit positive.Heck, there are numerous accounts here and on zulutrade that are pip positive and profit negative. PIPs are a stat illusion, hard profits aren't...

Had a minor glitch running my EA. Wasn't publishing nor trading properly due to some supposed account change.I also suspect it was Metatrader itself since I technically am running this on a Macbook Pro natively without using windows or virtualizing windows.Problem fixed and trades finished trading out fine so, everything ok!On a side note, I have fully recoded this EA with better programming and added more indicator options.So i guess this makes this version 2.0.
