As a junior trader, I’d say forex is profitable for some people, but expensive tuition for many others.The market has opportunities, yes, but it also punishes bad habits very fast. For me, the hardest part is not understanding the news or finding a setup. It is risk control, patience, and not doing something emotional after one bad trade. So yes, forex can be profitable. But if someone comes in thinking it is easy money, the market usually corrects that belief pretty quickly.

I agree with the low activity part especially. I noticed some of my worst entries happen during slower sessions because price tends to move sideways without clear direction, then suddenly spikes for no reason. Feels much harder to read compared to London or NY overlap where momentum and volume look cleaner.
